Karen Altamirano

Karen has lived in Las Cruces since 1996. Moved from San Diego CA where she worked in banking and real estate. She is involved in several major events/committees in Las Cruces. She has been in the customer service industry her whole working career.
Since moving to Las Cruces, she was given an opportunity to learn mortgage lending which she did for 12 years before going back to Real Estate. Having this unique skill set makes Karen and asset to you whether you are the buyer or the seller because she understands the entire transaction. She will monitor the transaction, checking the status of the buyer’s loan. If it has not progressing as it should she knows to ask questions. This way you know early on if there is an issue with the buyer instead of finding out the day before closing! Most Realtors do not know to ask or what to ask the lenders.
