When my father, Robert Short, developed his vision for the Telshor Hills subdivision, only a water tank stood on the open stretch of desert with a view of the Organ Mountains. But working with another partner and my mom, also a Real Estate agent, he not only built homes there but he also gave life one of Southern New Mexico's most famous and prestigious neighborhoods.
I grew up in the Real Estate business, and my family put the "Shor" in Telshor. My dad was the first president of the Las Cruces Realtors Association, and I am proud of what my parents did for the city of Las Cruces.
Now it's my turn to help families find their home here. I was born in Las Cruces, and I have a great time exploring the area. I have a degree from New Mexico State University in Fine Arts/Graphic design and have been a professional artist for more than 20 years. I can see the beauty of the land, and I paint it onto a rather unusual medium – the wild buffalo gourd found in the desert and hillsides of the desert Southwest. I have traveled throughout New Mexico, where several gift shops and galleries carry my artwork. My work was featured in New Mexico Magazine in the December 2006 issue.
With my extensive sales experience and knowledge and love of this area, I will do my best to help you find your special property or get your property sold quickly.
Helping families find the home of their dreams runs deep in my roots. Contact me today and let me help you discover the beauty of the Southwest!
