Opening the gate for in today's real estate market.
I joined Steinborn & Associates Real Estate in the fall of 2015. Before becoming a realtor, I enjoyed a successful, 35-year career in education as a secondary social studies teacher, a department chair, and an administrator of several pre-kinder-8th grade schools. My career in education began during my college years in New Haven, Connecticut and continued in the states of Maryland, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas, and the District of Columbia.
I assist prospective buyers in their quest to become home owners in the Land of Enchantment, as well as sellers who wish to obtain optimal market value on their existing homes. A lifelong educator, I realize that sometimes people are hesitant and need encouragement to ask questions about such items as credit ratings and repair, mortgage rates, varying requirements for down payments, home inspections, and closing costs. As a member of the Steinborn team I am committed and passionate about providing excellent service. My motto is “Committed to Excellent Customer Service.”
I earned degrees and certifications in social studies, English, accounting, and special education from Albertus Magnus College, the University of Texas at El Paso, and New Mexico State University. I am an active community member in organizations such as the American Association of University Women, National/Mesilla Valley Audubon Societies, American Association of School Administrators, Dona Ana County Historical Society, Singing Out Las Cruces, Tough Enough to Wear Pink, and the Las Cruces Association of Realtors.
In my leisure time I enjoy coin and stamp collecting, camping and hiking, watching independent movies, reading New York Times bestsellers, and traveling both nationally and internationally.
